Official opening of our two new sensory rooms by Minister Michael Moynihan
Monday, 16th February was a very proud day in Scoil Eoin, as we celebrated the official opening of our two new sensory rooms by Minister Michael Moynihan, Minister of State for Special Education and Inclusion.
Aptly named Cuas Ciúin (“Calm Cove”), these beautiful sensory spaces are a fantastic new resource for our pupils and a testament to the incredible fundraising efforts of our Parents’ Association who brought this vision to life.
It was a special occasion for our whole school community and an important opportunity to highlight the need for continued investment to support ASD / Special Classes in Scoil Eoin.
A sincere thank you to Fiona Reihill (DP), Úna Crowley (SENCO), our In-School Leadership & Management Team, all staff, our Parents’ Association and Board of Management for their hard work in making both the rooms and the opening such a success.
Well done to our fantastic boys who provided wonderful entertainment on the day — you were a credit to our school!
Special thanks also to John Hannon (photographer) for capturing the occasion so beautifully.
