The R.S.A. and E.S.B. Networks have teamed up to ensure that high visibility vests are distributed to every child starting primary school this year. Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Shane Ross said that “it is important to remind motorists to be mindful of our most vulnerable road-users”. Our “Back to School” Packs have arrived in Scoil Eoin and the Junior Infants were delighted to try them on, with a little help from their big buddies in 6th Class. ‘Going to School’ leaflets for Junior Infants entering education, which is a parent’s guide to getting children to school safely have also arrived. We were unfortunately left a little short and once one arrives for every child we will send them home.
