As part of the 1916 Commemorations, each school in the country has been invited to review the 1916 Proclamation and to to compose their own 2016 Proclamation. The boys have been involved in suggesting themes and brainstorming what is important to them. After much debate work has moved past the student committee stage and the finishing touches are being added under the guidance of our principal, Bean Uí Nuanáin.
The 2016 Proclamation will be read next Tuesday, March 15th as part of a countrywide Flag Raising Ceremony on the day.
