We were delighted and honoured to welcome members of this year’s All-Ireland Minor and U-20 winning teams to Scoil Eoin. Neil Lordan, Colm O’ Callaghan and brothers Jack and Hugh Murphy (l-r) took the time to visit with their All-Ireland cups as well as the U-20 Munster cup.
Bean Uí Nuanáin welcomed the players. Mr. Collins spoke of the great achievements of the two Cork teams. He also thanked the members of the management team, Bobbie O’ Dwyer and Ollie O’ Sullivan, who took the time to accompany the players.
The All-Ireland Champions were truly inspirational in the way they spoke and the amount of time they spent signing autographs and jerseys for the boys of Scoil Eoin. We were delighted that John O’ Dwyer of Ballincollig G.A.A. club joined us for the occasion.
