Scoil Eoin are elated to win the Excellence in Education Category at this year’s IT@Cork Leaders Awards. The school was nominated earlier this month and were invited to submit a written application outlining the role of IT in education in Scoil Eoin. Two of the teachers made a presentation and were interviewed by a judging panel. We were genuinely honoured and humbled to chosen as one of the three finalists. From global multinationals to schools and start ups, the awards recognise those who have gone further than most in their respective organisation.
On Thursday 15th October Bean Uí Nuanáin, Mr Lowney and Miss Reihill represented the school at the IT@Cork Leaders Awards Ceremony at Fota Island Resort. It was a wonderful event involving all of the people and companied to the forefront of the IT industry in the Cork area. To our absolute delight we were announced winners of the Excellence in Education Award, in recognition of the tremendous work being done right throughout the school in IT, by teachers and pupils alike.
