Heartiest congratulations to Sanita Puspure, who qualified for the Rio Olympics yesterday. It has been an honour to watch her fantastic performances recently. She won a bronze medal in both the European and World Championships in the last few weeks, which must have given her huge confidence in yesterday’s final in Lucerne, Switzerland. The pressure was immense, as Sanita had to finish in the top three to qualify! Showing the excellent rowing form that she is in, she finished second, securing her place on the Irish Olympic Team. We are incredibly proud of her and cannot wait to shout her on all the way to the podium in Rio!
