Sanita Puspure is an Irish athlete who is part of the Irish Rowing Team. Sanita recently competed in France at the World Rowing Championships. She was dearly hoping to do her very best and also qualify for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro next summer.
Sanita performed excellently throughout the competition and made to the B Final. In an very tight race, unfortunately Sanita narrowly missed out on qualification. However she will have a number of other opportunities to qualify. We are incredibly proud of Sanita in Scoil Eoin and we are behind her all the way to Brazil!
Sanita’s son Patrick is in 3rd Class and they were flying the flag for her!
