The last few months have been a time of uncertainty for all of us, but it was important to our school community to celebrate our wonderful 6th Class boys as they finish this chapter of their journey through education. The last term in 6th Class is always a wonderful one in Scoil Eoin. It is usually filled with tours, trips, sports and fun with friends. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be for the Class of 2020 this year, like so many other children throughout the country.
On Tuesday June 23rd we said a fond farewell rang a sé. They were each presented with a special cupcake and a year book, to mark the occasion. The boys were welcomed warmly by their 6th Class teachers, principal, Bean Uí Nuanáin and many members of the school community. This disappointment was very much in the background as they entered the school grounds. Despite the rain, there were smiles a plenty as friends were reunited. The future looks brighter for all of us and we wish nothing but happiness and the brightest of futures for these wonderful young men.
