Last year the present Fourth Class were responsible for Gárdín na Glasraí. As part of their vegetable planting projects they sewed turnip seeds. The pupils cared for them carefully in the last term and harvested most of the vegetables in June. However, there was a “Big” surprise for the boys! While clearing out the vegetable patch they discovered Scoil Eoin’s Enormous Turnip!! The boys had great fun trying to pull it out!!
